Comparative Study on the Hearing Screening by Transiently Otoacustic Emissions, Behavior Observation and Acoustic Impedance in Children with and without Hearing Risk for the Hearing Loss.

Abstract:
The present study had as a goal, to compare the hearing screening with otoacoustics emissions, behavior observation and acoustic impedance in neonatos with and without hearing risk. Two evaluations were done (for children that failed in the first evaluation). There was compatibility of 100% among the three screening after the second evaluation. In the control group (without hearing risk), 100% of the children succeded the three sreening realized, however in the risk group, two children failed in the three screening for presenting moderate hearing loss. It was also studied the answer standard for the screening, obtained for each group.
