Abstract:
Relapsing polychondritis is a rare and progressiva disease caracterized by cartilage inflammation, probabily due to autoimmune disorder. Frequentely the principal manifestations are auricular chondritis with inflammatory poliarthritis and, more rarely, can affect the respiratory tratt. ire describe the case of a 22 -year-old man, with progressive dyspnea and hoarseness, resulting in a respiratory disturbance and a tracheostomy because the extensiva laryngeal stenosis. Subsequentely, auricular chondritis and inflammatory poliarthritis affected the patient. The respiratory tratt is rarely affected, used to be lately and indicates a bad prognosis in young patients. So we describe a diferential dignosis to relapsing polychondritis.
