Focal infection. Evolution of concept. The bacteride.

Abstract:
The author relates the prestige of the concept of Focal Infection as being responsible for almost all the deseases up to the forties. From then on, several deseases have been found as coming from other etiologic factors. the concept of focal infection was at certain period totally denied. However, in some clinical eventualities of obscure etiology, some authors still research a possible infections etiology, according to the "concept of bacteride", based on proved immunologie researches of the highest cientific quality of modern Immunology, as is described in this article.
