It is a common problem in infants and children with great airway manifestations that can lead to serious morbiditity and even death. The authors treated 12 cases suffering: sensation of foreign body in the throat (62,5%), hearburn (37,5%), dysphagia (37,5%), regurgitation (37,5%) buccal burning (25%), odynophagia (25%), chronic cough (12,5%), recurrent otitis media and pneumonia. The diagnosis was based al clinically picture, endoscopic and roentgenographic examination.
