Abstract:
The epidemiology of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) has changed. individuals of a younger age being affilieted more after than in the post. Among these is syphilis, a disease that affects many organ systems including the oral cavity. The authors describe a case of secondary syphilis in an adolescent, emphasising the new epidemiologic pattern of the STD.
