Endonasal Surge of Hemangioma of the Lacrimal Sac - Case Report.

Abstract:
To diagnose a tumor of the lacrimal sac it is necessary, from the examinator, discernment in including this kind of pathology among the diagnostic hypotllesis in a patient with symptom of chronic ipsilateral epiphora due to nasolacrimal pathways obstruction. The prognosis of malign tumor of the lacrimal sac is severely compromissed in the cases of late diagnosis. The authors report a patient with a left lacrimal sac's cavernoss hemangioma, with symptom of chronic ipsilateral epiphora. They describe the clinical and radiological evaluations, the surgical treatment and the hystopathological achieves, ending the exposition with a literature revision about this theme.
