Abstract:
The audiometric screening test was carried out in 1.226 school children of elementary schools. The average age was eight years old. By adding 20 dB over the "zero reference" of the group, the autors found out 5.54% of children with hearing loss and 2.77% by adding 30 dB over the same reference.
