Abstract:
In this study the authors present a variation of the traditional microsurgical technique for lhe correction of fistulous vocal cord cysts, where they combine two principies of general surgery: fistulectomy (Extra-vocal fold) and flap (Bipediculated) of the larynx. This study is based on larynx micro vascular analysis, what justifies the good results. The authors analyzed 67 cases and achieved better vocal quality due to the preservation of-the vibratory functions, and better lesion control due to the utilization of classical surgical principies.
