Abstract:
We present a case of a 59-year-old white man who had dyspnea for 10 years and an increase of volume of the neck and posterior wall of pharynx After hormonal tests we detected hypothyroidism and the aspirative biopsy of the cervical and oral regions revealed Hashimoto Disease. The Computed Tomographic showed a single mass originated in thyroid with extension in the antero-posterior direction of the neck. The cervical mass was reduced after hormonal treatment. It's emphasized that this is an abnormal presentation of goiter and we didn't find a similar case in the literature.
