Audiometric findings after ear ventilation tubes extrusion.

Abstract:
The authors present the audiometric findings pre and post operative (after the extrusion) of 103 patients with secretory otitis media treated with miringotomy and ventilation tube insertion. The proposition of this paper was to get the functional results after the ventilation tube extrusion. They conclude that this surgical therapy was efficient to the hearing loss even after the tube extrusion.
