Transoral Approach to Tumours of the Craniocervical Transition.

Abstract:
The authors discuss lhe advantages of a transoral approach for the surgical treatment of anterior craniocervical lesions.
A case of a 12-year-old boy with a tumorin C1 is reported. Hepresented with neckpain and was seen initially by the orthopedic surgeon. He underrment surgery through lhe Minopharynx for the excision of Me mass.
The autorrs conclude that a complete removal of the mass was possible thanks to the conjoined approach of the orthopedic team and the otolaryngologist toam.
