The use of Dapsone Associed with Prednisone in the Treatment of Pemphigus Vulgaris.

Abstract:
We have studied 10 patients with the diagnostic of Pemphigus Vulgaris (confirmed by biopsy au dirett immunofluorescence and indirett immunofluorescence). Those patients were treated with an association of Prednisone and dapsone. Nine of ten patients achieved a regression of their symptoms. Only one patient achieved pardal regression of their symptoms with this kind of treatment. The period of this study was between 1987 and 1993.
