Abstract:
A large number of sistemic and otological diseases are incriminated as cause of sensorineural hearing loss. The objective of this subject is to show the effect of chronic otitis media on the sensorineural hearin gloss. The audiometry of 80 pacients was reviewed specially on the sensorineural level and there is evidency of hearing loss on the pathologic side, comparing with the normal lide, specially on high frequencies.
