Abstract:
The authors report an uncommon case of a patient with ectopic ossification of the auricular cartilage forming a big tumoral mass that completely altered the morfology of the auricle. The patient underwent surgical removal of the mass. Histological examination revealed proliferation of bone tissue forming a nodule surrounded by hialine cartilage and fibrous tissue.
