Abstract: The authors present a case of nasal septal hemangioma, an incommon benign tumour that should be recognized as part of the differential diagnosis of bleeding mass lesions in the nose. lts diagnosic requires a high levei of suspicious as well as histologic and image techiques. Once confirmed, surgery with or without pre-operative angiographic embolization is tite treatment of choice. Failure to include a cuff of uninvolved perichondrium at the time of resection is associated with a high rate of recurrence. The role of other therapy modalities remains unclear.
