Abstract: Venous angiomas are the most commonly encountered vascular lesion in imaging exams. The exact pathogenesis of developmental venous anomalies is unknown. They appear tobe congenital lesions. We report a case of a 50-year-old female, who was complaining about vertigo for eight months and deafness in the right ear a long time ago, with deep venous angioma in dentate cerebellum ancí left pontine regions. The audiometry showed a moderate decrease and low discrimination. The Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry showed an increase in the P5-Pl interval in the left side and an isolated P5 with normal latency in the right, considerating the loss of the hearing at this lide. The retrococlear pathology was confirmed by CT scan and MR. Due to the danger of the surgery for this case, we chose to follow up the patient with symptomatic drugs.
