Intranasal Corticcosteroids and Possible Adverse Events: Literature Review.

Abstract: The present revision has the purpose of analysing in aecordance with the different-publications, the safety in the use of the intranasal corticosteroids, nowadays in frequently use and complete acceptance by the otorhinolaryngologists, allergologists and other specialists dedicated to the treatment of rhinitis and sinusitis pathology, since there are publications suggesting local and systematics adverse effects. Several proceedings were done, aiming to determine therr safety and conclude that the safety-s rate is very large in the ones of actual generation but, nevertheless, must be used starting with the doses recommended ín aecordance with the mentioned ages, during a careful period, depending on the clinic reaction and performing a serious control, in order to avoid troubles, following carefully the information to the patient, refering to the correc method in the use of the doses.
