Click Evoked Otoacoustic Emissions: Findings in Young Adults with Normal Hearing

Abstract: The aim of this experiment was to describe the features of the findings of the click evoked otoacoustics emissions. The population was constitued of 100 eightheen to thirty years old normal heartng adults (50 males and 50 females). The study showed that the click evoked otoacoustics emissions were present, in both sexes, within a frequeney range from 500 to 4000 Hz, with and eneW peak around 1000 to 1500 Hz. Statistically significant differences between males and females were fouud iu relation to the level of click and emission. Significant non linear correlation these variables was found.
