Abstract: Several treatments have been proposed for spastic dysphonia in recent years. Lately, botulinum toxin injection has emerged as a treatment of choice to this vocal disturbance. Although it is necessary to reinject the toxin every 3 to 6 months, this procedure has shown its effectiveness and às lack of systemic complications. This preliminar report describes a transcutaneous technique for botulinum toxin injection, under flexible video laringoscopy control without electromy graphic guidance.
