Abstract: 40 hearing-impaired individuals were evaluated in order to verify the Synthetic sentences with message competition importance in the hearing aid subjective evaluation.
The results obtained indicated significant differences between the auditive performance in satisfied and dissatisfied groups. In conclusion, our data showed that the use of Synthetic sentences with message competition consists on efficient test evaluation to select the best hearing aid.
