Abstract: The SSI test has been object of many publications on the world1, 2, 3, 4 and brazilian5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 to specialized press. However, still there is not a standardization with statistics calculations about normal population for this specific test, which is the objective of this work. We evaluated the performance of 100 ears from 50 normal hearing persons at the SSI test. On the results was applied a statistic test to establish a standard table for the test's answers. The resuts are similars to those found for the original test in English.
