Abstract: Two hundred outpatients with altered insulin curves and presenting auditory and/or vestibular symptoms were submitted to a complete neurotological evaluation prior to and following the use of a hypoglicidic and hyperproteic diet. An analysis was made of the patient's symptoms and auditory thresholds.
