Abstract: Primary malignant tumours of the frontal sinus are extremely rare. Until 1971 only 139 cases were described. Clinically the diagnosis of this tumours is difficult because of the slow and insidious process and the lack of characteristics clinical and radiological features. Generally, they are diagnosed as mucocele or pyocele and remain undetected for a longtime. The diagnosis is confimed only by histological examination. The prognosis remain extremely poor what is attributed to the advanced stage on presentation and the little experience to determine what line of treatment will give the best results.
