Abstract: The maxillary artery ligation was accomplished in 13 patients under the surgery of resection of the juvenile angiofibroma as a control procedure of the intra operative bleeding. The artery approach through the transoral route in the zygomatic space with effective reduction of the blood loss, shorter surgical time and the advantage of reaching the tumor pedicle without dissection in its intimacy surrounding it by the region of the maxillary tuberosity.
