Partial Turbinectomy Surgery with CO2 Laser: Report of Twenty-Nine Cases.

Abstract: This work relates twenty-nine cases of patients, of which seventeen are men and twelve womem, with age ranging from nine to twenty-seven years, who were submitted to partial turbinectomy in which lower turbinate bones were extracted by means of CO2, laser beam. Results highlight minimal post-operatory bleeding and point to the increasing role of out patient intervention under local anesthesia.
