In this article, the authors relate a case of a 57 year old female, with a history of unilateral pulsatile tinnitus at the right ear, associated with deafness at the same side for seven years. In relatio to the otoscopic features, a vascular tumor inside the middle ear was suspected. The CT scan showed bilaterally prominent carotid arteries in the middle ear. It was decided todo a periodically follow-up and the patient's symptoms didn't show progression after two years.
