Abstract: Vestibular disorders are common in the practice of the otolaryngologist. Nowadays, they have been treated almost always in empiric ways, because its physiopathology is unkwown. In this study, we emphasized the paper neurotransmitters of the vestibular system and the action of the drugs involved with the labirinth. We concluded that the knowledge of the neuromodulators involved the vestibular system are very important, once of the majority of the drugs with action in these system modulate the fuction of these substances.
