Abstract: Despite an increase incidence of temporal bone injuries, there is little in the literature regarding management of there serious injuries. The purpose of this paper is to make a bibliography review, including anatomical and clinical aspects, and show that computed tomography and audiovestibular testing must be helpful in evaluating the severity and guiding the surgical approach when necessary. The therapy and the management are discussed too.
